DESCRIPTION:Vasko The Patch & Poduene Blues Band \nVasko was born in Sofia June 1959.Driver and car mechanic \, and musician by heart and soul.\nSelf-educated. He plays harmonica\, drums and guitar. Author and blues singer. He made first professional Bulgarian Blues Band in ’89 Poduene Blues Band. Named on bad and poor neighborhood in Sofia\, where Vasko’s grown up. They started playing Blues across the country and making own songs\, telling stories of a hard life\, funny life and freedom….The first concert of the band was on March. 02. 1989 in Buhovo/ Sofia Prison. Vasko The Patch and Poduene Blues Band has 17 albums in Bulgaria and one in Germany. They play on many concerts\, festivals and clubs…. and charity to orphans to noisy festivals of bikers\, from the small Eddy’s club in Sofia to Super Blues Festival -Bucurest 95 with John Mayall as a headliner \, where Poduene Blues Band played in front of five thousand people and they are called for an encore three times\, from the roof of a moving bus at the festival of old motor vehicles in Plovdiv to Rothmans Blues Fest – Bourgas’99\, where headliners were The Blues Brothers Band\, from The Festival of Beer in Sofia to the Haineken Brewery in Amsterdam\, from the school for diplomats in Bonn to the prison in Koln\, from Jazzgalerie in Bonn – Germany to Jazz House in Kansas city\, from the basement in Poduene to Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago…Blues Goes East-Karlsruhe\, Honky Tonk Kneipenfestival Schweinfurt \,Ardas Fest Greece\, Sofia Blues Meeting\, Cluj Jazz& Blues Festival\, Blues On The Beach and Apolinia Sozopol\, Galati Jazz&Blues Festival\, Cvete Za Gosho Blues Rock Festival Sofia\, Blagoevgrad Blues&Jazz Festival\, Blues Challenge Berlin\, and many others….
